Process Improvement Gamma Group Consulting leads the documentation and analysis of current work flows, both linear and cross-functional, and facilitates the streamlining of the processes into the desired state. A team of subject matter experts from each work group within the process are assembled to work on the project. In most projects creation of a process map is the first step, so that a clear picture of the participants and the hand-offs can be viewed relative to a time frame. The map consists of a series of boxes describing the work group deliverables and decision points, that are connected by arrows to communicate the progression of the work. This communication tool helps to visualize potential work redundancies and bottlenecks in the system.
